A simple browser companion for your lessons

This guide shows how to use EduJoJo Live as a light support tool: short sessions in between explanations, not a complete replacement for teaching.

Teaching with EduJoJo Live

The strongest classroom technology is the one that respects your time. EduJoJo Live is designed so you can walk into a room, open a browser, and start a session in under a minute.

1. Plan small “browser moments”

Instead of filling entire periods with screens, think of EduJoJo Live sessions as short “browser moments” that frame your main explanations.

  • 2–3 minute warm-ups to activate prior knowledge
  • 5–10 minute practice blocks in the middle of a lesson
  • Short “cool-downs” to review key ideas before dismissal

2. Keep instructions visible

Before starting a session, briefly explain the goal, then read the on-screen instructions with students. Ask one student to repeat the steps in their own words; this prevents confusion and keeps the pace smooth.

3. Use projectors and shared screens

Many EduJoJo Live sessions work well even when only one main screen is visible. You can:

  • Run the activity on a projector and let students call out answers
  • Invite small groups to the computer for turn-based play
  • Model strategies first, then let individuals try on their own devices

4. Balance energy and calm

Choose session types that match the mood of the room. If students are restless, a short logic puzzle can channel that energy into focus. If they are tired, a calm reaction-timer or reading warm-up may be better than fast-paced gameplay.

5. Encourage reflection

After closing a session, ask students one or two quick questions:

  • “What strategy helped you the most?”
  • “Where did you get stuck, and how did you solve it?”
  • “What could we try differently next time?”

These tiny reflections connect browser experiences back to deeper learning.
